Why relevance, not reach, is the real driver of email performance

A delicious three course meal was served and complimentary bottles of wine were left on each table, which I'm sure contributed to the loosening of the vocal chords for many of the ladies. In fact there were so many karaoke requests there wasn't enough time to fit them all in. For those who did get to sing fantastic prizes were up for grabs courtesy of the V&A shops as well as a lucky draw for those who didn't and those of us not brave enough to jump on stage.
From “I will survive” to “Black Velvet” to “Build me up Buttercup” all our favourite cheesy Karaoke songs were sung. Gareth and his girls from 5FM mc'ed the event and Gareth even graced us with a pretty good rendition of Robbie Williams' “Feel” (even if he did forget some of the words).
All in all it was a very enjoyable girls night out, cheesy music, yummy food, wine, fabulous prizes what more could you want.
