    Scrape cuts deep

Fresh from its award-winning run at Grahamstown's National Arts Festival, Scrape is set to perform at Cape Town's Alexander Bar.
    Scrape cuts deep

Written by Genna Gardini, directed by Gary Hartley, and performed by Amy Louise Wilson, Scrape is the story of an everyday woman suffering from an unusual condition. After falling and scraping herself, Beth discovers that not only does skin heal but that it can sometimes do so with a vengeance.

Here's what the media had to say:

"Scrape, with its visceral imagery, is darkly funny and goes deep beyond the surface to scratch at issues of identity, obsession, helplessness and isolation." ~ Artsblog

"Poet Genna Gardini's new script is beautifully honest and superbly acted by Amy Louise Wilson." ~ Cue

Scrape is at Cape Town's Alexander Bar from 6 to 17 August. For more information, go to www.alexanderbar.co.za.
