Billy Talent to play in Cape Town and Pretoria
Canadian punk rock band Billy Talent are returning to South Africa for a two-date tour in August. The quartet will kick off their tour with a date in Cape Town on 23 August at the City Hall Auditorium, before heading up to Pretoria for a Post aKOPPPIlyptic Punk Picnic at the Botanical Gardens on 24 August, 2013.
The two shows both have exciting opportunities for fans, with those in Cape Town able to buy special tickets which include a "meet and greet" and exclusive merchandise, while those in Pretoria can obtain a discount if they have a valid 2013 OppiKoppi Bewilderbeast Festival ticket.
Billy Talent are currently touring as part of the Vans Warped Tour USA, before traveling to Europe to headline three festivals as part of their promotion of their fourth album, "Dead Silence".
Tour dates:
- 23 August: City Hall Auditorium, Cape Town. Tickets: R350.
VIP Boxes: Box 1 and 2: R6000 per box (10 people per box) - Includes tour T-shirt per person, personal waiter per box as well as a meet and greet with Billy Talent. Box 3 and 4: R5000 per box (10 people per box) - Includes tour T-shirt per person and a personal waiter per box. Box 5 and 6: R4500 per box (10 people per box) - Includes personal waiter per box.
- 24 August: Pretoria Botanical Gardens, Pretoria. Tickets: R450 without an OppiKoppi ticket or R350 with a valid 2013 ticket.
