Glamping [n] to establish or pitch camp in a glamorous fashion

This year the Up the Creek organizers are introducing glamping to the festival scene. As its' name suggests, they are inviting festivalgoers to bring the glamour to camping. The most glam camper stand to win R500 in prize money, 2 x tickets to Up the Creek 2013 and a 1 year subscription to Rolling Stone SA magazine. Enter by setting up camp, glamming it up and taking a picture (with the rest of UTC clearly visible in the background) and submit your entry to the Facebook page after the festival, but no later than February 10th. Winners will be announced by the 13th.

BOS Ice Tea 'Anything that Floats' Competition

We've mentioned this aspect of the festival before, but now the actual prizes have been finalised! These include:
Best Float: A BOS hamper consisting of a BOS beach umbrella, 2 x beach chairs, a BOS cocktail book and BOS product as well as two tickets to Up the Creek 2013 and two tickets to a Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert of your choice.
The Most Romantic Float: BOS hamper consisting of a BOS cooler bag, product, a cocktail book, a cap, a Frisbee and 2 tickets to Up the Creek 2013.
Spot prizes: These will be awarded to contenders exibiting great effort and include cash giveaways, as well as BOS hampers with a cooler bag, product, a cap and a Frisbee.

Myself, I will probably rock up with a jar of peanut butter, half a bottle of wine, a hat and a towel, but if you are the kind of person to go through a lot of aesthetic trouble, do bring your A-game and make the rest of us look bad ;)
