Mentalist Gilan Gork brings new show to Joburg
South Africa-born mentalist Gilan Gork will be bringing a new show, entitled Gilan Gork - Beyond The Mind to the Nelson Mandela Theatre on the Square, Sandton, from 7 to 11 February, 2012. First made popular by Uri Geller, mentalism has recently received fresh awareness through the popularity of UK mentalist Derren Brown.
Gork will be demonstrating his remarkable abilities through a completely interactive show, giving them a personal experience of the power of the mind in an entertaining way; showcasing belief in oneself and the power of potential, which is woven into his performance in an inspiring and empowering way. This one-of-a-kind show will have audience members engaged in a number of mentalism feats, including reading volunteers' thoughts, predicting what volunteers will say or do in advance, and bending metal with the mind.
"My passion lies in communicating with people and adding value to their life," Gork said. "Whether it is by inspiring them about human potential in one of my entertainment shows or by imparting lessons on being a person of influence and changing their effectiveness and results in life."
Tickets are available at the Nelson Mandela Theatre on the Square for R160.
