Boschendal to open farmer's market
At Place de Boschendal, you will be able to taste and purchase seasonal produce, with the emphasis on fruit and vegetables that are organic whenever possible, along with artisan bread, local cheeses, beautiful confectioneries, fine oils, spices and home-made preserves on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
Just as in the old days, you'll be able to talk to the producers, learn about their goods and know that your purchases are fresh and absolutely delicious. You can start by enjoying a steaming hot artisan coffee, while you enjoy a fresh baguette or croissant and then wander around the bustling stalls gathering products like cured salmon, a selection of local cheeses from the local fromagerie, high-quality meats and a number of other products. Afterwards, you can relax and enjoy a picnic lunch with Boschendal wines.
It's for the whole family too, as kids are entertained in the dedicated children's area, you're also free to engage in a time-honoured bout of boulle or croquet.
