Roxette to play Joburg, Durban and Cape Town
Roxette will be returning to our shores when they play three one-off concerts on 3 June at the Coca Cola Dome, Joburg, 5 June at the ICC Durban, and 8 June, 2012, at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town.
Roxette, the Swedish duo of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, sing a mix of romantic ballads and pop with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. They started up in the late 1980s and had hits like It Must Have Been Love and Listen To Your Heart.
In February, 2011, Roxette kicked off with their first World Tour "Charm School", since 1995.
