Goldfish in live 3D set at Montecasino

Goldfish will perform with a mix of live instruments and house beats when they play at The Teatro, Montecasino on 25 November, 2011. Specially created 3D graphics will be part of the live set and the band will be joined by special guest artists, international guest DJs and other surprise acts.

This is their first show at The Teatro, Montecasino returning to the venue where earlier this year they won the MTN SAMA award for Best Global Dance Album, for their Gold-selling 2010 release "Get Busy Living". Seating is limited to 1800. Tickets are available at Computicket from R100 to R200.

In mid-November the boys release their "Get Busy Living - Remixed" album. This specially created release features a host of mixes from local and international dance music stars, such as Pascal & Pearce, Culoe De Song, Fedde le Grand, Danny Dove, James Copeland and Tony Finger.

International recording contract signed

This release comes on the back of their extensive 2011 European Tour with a slew of shows across Germany, Holland and the UK. During the Amsterdam Dance Event Goldfish signed an extensive international recording contract with EMI Music based in Benelux.

Erwin Goegebeur, chairman of EMI Music Benelux, said: "It has been obvious for some time that Goldfish is a very special act. The exciting mixture of dance combined with live instruments and jazz influences induced several successful shows and hundreds of enthusiastic fans this ADE. This signing is very special, because Goldfish holds the potential to instantly explode worldwide. An exceptionally high number of our foreign EMI colleagues share our enthusiasm."
