New Van Coke Kartel album and tour

Van Coke Kartel will release their fourth album, Wie's Bang, in November, which will be the band's first with its new four-piece line-up including Jedd Kossew (lead guitar) and Jason Oosthuizen (drums). An extensive tour in November/December, 2011, will follow.

Van Coke Kartel wanted to create an album for the people and Wie's Bang delivers a diverse sound, from heavy rock songs to classic rock ballads and some electronic elements in the mix, a la skop, skiet en donner.
A few interesting surprises are also to be expected. Van Coke Kartel collaborated with Zebra & Giraffe on their first original English/Afrikaans track, Siener. All the Bellville boys come together as the ''Bellville Choir'' on the more experimental track, Nevermind, and Jack Parow joins the party on Chaos.

Teaser single free to download

Vir Almal is the first teaser single, released earlier this month as a free download and was downloaded 7000 times within the first 24 hours. The track was recorded at B# Studios and was produced by Peach van Pletzen.
