John Vlismas in one-off show at the Gold Reef City Casino
John Vlismas will bring his brutal, honest and irreverent comedy to The Lyric Theatre in an 80-minute one-off performance on 1 October, 2011. He promises that the show will be bold, outrageous, original, and not for the faint-hearted.
Vlismas has been working hard on various projects, taking his one-man show to Harare, and Cape Town, but now he brings the belly laughs to his favourite venue in Gauteng.
"I was going to wait until March, when I'll be shooting a DVD at the Lyric, but a booking opened, so I took it."
Having created the Comedy Underground, as well as the new SA Comic's Choice Awards, Vlismas has been extensively involved in building the current SA comedy industry, and is known very much as a comic's comic.
The show starts at 8.30pm and tickets are R95 through Computicket or Gold Reef City Theatre Booking Office.
