The MSC Sinfonia luxury cruise ship is the largest cruise ship ever to service the South African market and is chartered exclusively to host Rock the Boat from 9 to 12 December, setting off from Durban and heading to the Portuguese Island in Mozambique.
The ship will be transformed into three days of non-stop entertainment from the best in South African DJs, bands, models and comedians complementing the wide variety of other onboard attractions, such as sports, competitions with unbelievable prizes, swimming pools, jacuzzis, gym, casino, beauty spa, and duty-free shopping.
Only over-18s are welcome. The artists will perform multiple times across the three nights in intimate exclusive venues. The line-up includes:

Ticket prices vary, based on how many people share the cabin (cabins can accommodate between one and four people), as well as whether the cabin is an inside cabin (no window) or an outside cabin (with a window overlooking the sea) or a VIP Suite (with a private balcony). Prices are per cabin, not per person - therefore cabin prices will be the same if two or four people share the cabin.

Tickets are only available through the Rock the Boat website, www.rocktheboat.co.za from 8am on 1 August, 2011. Booking is strictly on a first-come first-served basis. We have removed 3D secure for 2011, so we have the basic secure CC transaction. A standard and secure EFT facility will be available. This facility is called SID, which is a web-based payment service that allows customers to pay an online merchant directly from their bank accounts, via their Internet-banking facility. Payment is instantly debited from the account and the merchant is immediately notified that the payment has occurred. A credit card is not required.
Using the latest ClickOnce technology from Microsoft, SID makes online payment easy and secure.
Once you confirm the transaction, SID processes the payment. Both you and the merchant receive instant notification as to whether the transaction was successful. None of your personal information is shared with the merchant.
