New album from The Dirty Skirts
The album was recorded at Heritage Studios in Cape Town with Brendyn Rusti Rossouw, mixed by Neal Snyman, mastered at Sterling Sound Studios in New York and released through 2 Feet, an imprint of Sheer Sound.
"Long. Beautiful. Complex. Real. Deep. It's been two years of intensive work, and the last six months have been ridiculously intense. The last month, well, that's been insane. Last week nearly broke us. We've given everything to this album. We've made music that has satisfied us deeply," said Jeremy de Tolly.
"Lost In The Fall" is quite different from any of the group's previous offerings. Whether it's an evolution or a sudden change in direction, it's heavier in parts and it's deeper in content. They have written some of the most complex and interesting music of their careers so far. To them, "Lost In The Fall" is the best work they've ever done and they describe it as "a visceral, dark, lyrical and dreamy album".
