The team have been working tirelessly for the past few months transforming this historical landmark into a sophisticated venue that will host the top comics and showcase the best South African and international talent throughout the year. In addition, patrons can enjoy great food, relax, laugh and just have fun in a safe, upmarket environment.

Simple and uncomplicated

Jou Me Se Comedy Club has announced the acquisition of Sue-Ann Allen, celebrity chef to the JMSCC family. Allen's vision for the food menu at the club is to keep it simple and uncomplicated. Her focus will be on using fresh seasonal produce and producing great food with all of the focus on flavour. "We'll be serving tapas, gourmet salads, pizzas and then some traditional food, like steak and fries on standard evenings, but the menu can change to suit events or corporate gigs - anything is possible so menus can be created to suit the occasion. I am looking forward to getting creative in my new kitchen and cooking for you soon," Allen said.

The Club will be open from Wednesday to Sunday. Doors open at 6pm and shows start at 8.30pm.

Tickets: cost R80, available through Computicket.
