Pretoria water supply to be restored
The water supply to Sunnyside and Arcadia in Pretoria will be restored by Monday afternoon, the City of Tshwane said in a statement.
The two areas have been without water since Sunday after the main feeder pipeline burst at the Pretoria station on Saturday night.
Repairs on the pipe began on Sunday afternoon.
"Repairs are complete and water connections will be fully restored as soon as the water pressure has normalised, which is estimated to be at 12pm," the city said.
It apologised to residents for the inconvenience.
