The JLL and Tétris South Africa Graduate Programme provides graduates with the opportunity to learn from specialised property-related disciplines in the business, allowing them to obtain real property experience.
Applications open for 2017 JLL/Tétris Graduate Programme

JLL and Tétris recruit, train and retain the highest calibre of graduates, challenging them to develop enduring client relationships built on quality service, collaboration and trust.

With a wide range of service lines to explore and a wealth of expertise in-house, interns are exposed to all of the technical, business and professional skills they need to shape and develop a meaningful career in professional property services.

“The JLL team shares its skills and market knowledge openly through internships offered to graduates seeking a career in property. The programme allows graduates to obtain real property experience within the fee-earning departments in which they are placed. The interns get the opportunity to work in a different department for each quarter of the year for holistic exposure to the business,” Craig Hean, MD of JLL South Africa, says.

Dynamic team

Emma Luyt, MD of Tétris South Africa, adds that working in a dynamic design and build team, interns passionate about design will gain hands-on experience in fit-out and sustainable workplace strategies, arming them with the skills needed to succeed in the industry.

A 12 month programme running from January to December of each year at the JLL offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg, the programme offers interns the opportunity to work in different business lines and access JLL’s global network of specialists.

The programme encompasses:

  • Mentorship and coaching by industry experts
  • Business acumen and work readiness
  • Workplace exposure
  • Technical qualification
  • Opportunities to be involved in current and future deals

In addition to on-the-job training, both direct technical and soft skills training courses are offered. These are based on business specific requirements and are in line with the intern’s development in his/her specific role. The programme will yield a SAQA Accredited Qualification in Real Estate and eligibility to register with the Real Estate Professional Body.

Running a successful graduate programme since 2012, with a total of 13 graduate interns having gone through the programme, JLL will be proud to once again host a group of interns in 2017. Applications for the 2017 JLL Graduate Programme may be made until 31 August 2016.
