SA Society of Law Teachers' conference still open for registration
The Society of Law Teachers' of Southern Africa Conference 2015 will be hosted by Varsity College at its Durban North campus from 6 - 8 July.
The conference will be a great platform to connect, network and mingle with colleagues from other law faculties.
The goals for this conference are to create a platform of collaboration in legal research amongst law academics, to promote teaching and research in the field of law, and to further the common professional interests of teachers of law. The exchange of knowledge, sharing of ideas and the opportunity to meet fellow law colleagues will be invaluable.
The event will strategically place the Varsity College School of Law, in legal academia, on a South African level. It will also provide its academics with the opportunity to exhibit their research skills on an esteemed academic platform before their peers and legal experts who have already carved their niche in legal research.
Fiona Kaplan, Head of the Varsity College School of Law, says, "The growth that the Varsity College School of Law has achieved in recent years is very encouraging. Our collaboration on the four-year LLB degree available through the University of Free State's Law faculty and the introduction of our own BCom Law degree available through The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) has undoubtedly resulted in an exciting time of consolidation and growth."
Registration for the conference is still open. To register, delegates are encouraged to visit: www.varsitycollegesltc2015.co.za
