JSE directors' salaries up 23%
Salaries for directors of South Africa's Top 40 companies rose by an average of 23% while their short-term incentives were up by a whopping 56% according to PricewaterhouseCoopers third report on remuneration of executive directors.
The report is based on figures taken from the annual reports of 384 companies listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange.
