At the recent International Wine Challenge held in London, South African wines again came home with golds, with Fleur du Cap taking three golds for its 2009 Noble Late Harvest, 2008 Cap Noble Late Harvest and its 2009 Unfiltered Semillon, a year that will long be remembered as one of the finest vintages for white wines in South Africa. A record number of 46 countries participated in this competition with a 15% increase in the number of wines judged this year.
