Kingsley Holgate off to Sudan

Holgate's expedition is headed to the Republic of South Sudan, which comes into existence on 9 July, following decades of conflict between north and south. Holgate's Land Rover party is carrying a Scroll of Peace and Goodwill in Support of Malaria Prevention as well as mosquito nets provided by UAM (United Against Malaria) of which Nando's is a proud partner, to its base camp at Nile River Explorers at Bujagali Falls. From there the party will split, with some volunteers taking a 600km Nile journey by inflatable boat to meet the Land Rover team in Juba, in time for the Independence Day celebrations.
