Winter menus for chilly weather

NEWLANDS, CAPE TOWN: Alex Coupy, chef patron of Au Jardin Restaurant, has been offering three menus themed for the chilly winters, including a special dedication to vegetarian fare.

The menus are inclusive of an Amuse Bouche, sorbet and a delicious selection of petit four. Menus are priced from R110.00 for two courses and R140.00 for three, while the vegetarian menu offering a choice of two to four courses is priced from R70.00.

This year Au Jardin is offering the winter menus from June through till September 2007. The restaurant is closed in July for the team's annual holiday. Au Jardin seats 70 persons and bookings are essential. Ample secure parking is available. For special occasions, consider reserving the Cellar Table which seats up to 12 persons located in the venue's 20 000-bottle cellar.
