TNPA appoints Sphiwe Mthembu as port manager for the Port of East London

Transnet National Ports Authority (TPNA) has appointed Sphiwe Mthembu as the new port manager for the Port of East London.

As a premier hub port, Mthembu will facilitate and enable trade between South Africa and the rest of the world in compliance with the National Ports Act and Transnet Strategy.

He joined Transet in 2013. Two years later, he was promoted to TNPA's marine operations manager for the Port of Durban because of his willingness to learn and continuously contribute to the company's improvement.
