#Africacom: The iconic shape of Africa turned out to be the unsung hero of the recent Africacom and AfricaTech trade events, which took place from 12-14 November, 2019. The twin events saw stakeholders in telecoms, data, technology, connectivity infrastructure, AI, Fintech and IoT converge on Cape Town's CTICC to learn, network and do business.

The 12th Annual AfricaCom Awards was held at The Lookout in Cape Town. Presented by former Springbok Bryan Habana, the awards celebrated the achievements of the best companies, solutions, products and personalities improving connectivity and driving Africa towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution. AfricaCom was launched on Wednesday, 12 July, at an informal, but intimate function held in Rosebank, Johannesburg, South Africa. The event also kicked off the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of what is, Africa's largest, influential, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) conference and exhibition.
