Members of the Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO) and their friends and families took part in a special spekboom tree planting ceremony at the site of the Great Labyrinth near Klapmuts on 7 March. Proceedings began with a word from premier Alan Winde. President of EO Cape Town, Waheed Adam, says: "It is our responsibility as business leaders and good citizens to be mindful of our carbon footprint. As an organisation, we've embarked on a campaign to raise awareness about climate change and inspire local entrepreneurs, business leaders and citizens to help reduce our nation's carbon emissions."
