The newest recruit, Creative Effectiveness, recognises creative campaigns which have shown a measurable and proven impact on clients' business by influencing consumer behaviour, brand equity, sales and profit. Only entries that were either shortlisted or Lions winners across all categories in 2010 are eligible to enter. Cinemark is the official representatives of Cannes Lions in South Africa: "The immense talent in South Africa shines through in the outstanding performance our local agencies deliver year on year; punching well above our weight in advertising spend. Our industry stalwarts are recognised through the judging selection process; selecting the very best SA has to offer year on year. We want to encourage South African's to get out there and see how we fair against the rest of the world; which just so happens to be pretty damn well," says Lynne Wylie, marketing manager at Cinemark.
