Precision Air discontinues direct flights from Joburg
Precision Air, Tanzania's largest carrier, has decided to discontinue its flights to Tanzania as of 17 September 2012. As part of consolidating its strategic market presence the airline has decided to focus on growing strong domestic demand and more lucrative markets.
Precision Air has been offering four flights a week to Tanzania since the Launch of the route a year ago.
Precision Air's commercial director, Patrick Ndekana, said: "It has been a great experience operating the route and we may consider resuming this destination as we enhance our market presence and fleet".
Precision Air will make arrangements for customers who purchased tickets to fly after 17 September 2012, to reach their destinations through airline partners.
