Regenesys Business School chairperson receives international Education Leadership Award

On 28 June 2013, Dr Marko Saravanja, chairperson of the Regenesys Business School, received an Education Leadership Award at the World Education Congress. This year's congress, which took place in Mumbai, India, focussed on "Teaching & Learning for Meaning in a Globalised World".

The World Education Congress 2013 is governed by the Global Advisory Council that guides the strategic intent of the congress. Dr Saravanja was approached by the organisers of the event to accept the award, as a leader and contributor in the field of education.

Building a global vision for higher education

"I am humbled and honoured to receive this award and to be recognised on a global stage for the achievements of Regenesys Business School. We are privileged to work in the business of education and have a responsibility to make the world a better place to live in for generations to come," said Dr Saravanja. "This award is testament of the remarkable work that Regenesys does, including offering free business education to students from over 100 countries across the globe."

The congress is a gathering of ministers of education and other influential leaders in education. The latest congress, in which Dr Saravanja shared knowledge on his expertise in the education field, discussed the latest education tools, technologies and solutions, building on a global vision for higher education.

The annual event encourages collaboration and partnerships and aims to influence the evolving culture of education and educational pedagogy, with the objective of deep systemic change. The 2013 conference offered unique in-depth approaches to understanding important academic issues that affect institutions around the world.
