David Tlale collection unveiled
David Tlale recently unveiled his latest Ready-to-Wear and Couture Collection in Cape Town, at an invitation-only event, in a burlesque milieu filled with models that included Venantia, draped in a cream dip-dyed lace floor length dress, rotating slowly on a revolving platform.
Tlale's collection reflected his vision of grandeur as internationally renowned chic that exudes luxury, glamour, opulence and decadence.
Tlale said: "I am thrilled with the outcome of the showcase. My visit to Cape Town has been filled with joy, passion and excitement for our first retail debut with The Bromwell Boutique Mall. All Capetonians may now begin to enjoy my experience."
Akual, an international model, found herself swinging and was the centerpiece, while other women in Tlale's collection pieces were presented in movement on rope swings, plinths and couches.
Among the guests were Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe and Simphiwe Dana, a local musician.
