McDonald's SA MD shares success story
Greg Solomon, managing director of McDonald's South Africa, will be the speaker at the upcoming Leadership Conversations hosted by the Regenesys Business School. Solomon will tackle the topic of 'How Leadership shapes the way you play the game' and will answer career and business orientated questions from the audience.
Solomon who was instrumental in the building of some of the first McDonald's restaurants in South Africa 18 years ago, believes that in order to lead, you have to have followed. This is evident in the clear path that he took in developing his career at McDonald's.
Solomon has received cross-function exposure, education and experience across all departments at McDonald's South Africa, ranging from construction and real estate to budgeting and design. He then spent five years in the McDonald's operations team where he learned the science of McDonald's business before assuming the role of Managing Director of McDonald's South Africa in 2009.
The Leadership Conversation will be held at the Regenesys Business School in Sandton on Thursday, 12 September from 6-7PM. Entrance to the talk is free but booking is essential to secure a seat.
