The Fresh Group launches new Cape Town training venue

The Fresh Group has launched a new Cape Town training venue, The Oasis, at 5 Wandel Street, Gardens, opposite Dunkley Square, which is designed to offer learning experiences from which people emerge feeling energised and inspired.
The Fresh Group launches new Cape Town training venue

The Oasis is a one-of-a-kind training facility conceptualised by strategic HR consultancy The Fresh Group. It has been created to host unique training interventions for The Fresh Group's clients, which include some of the country's leading advertising agencies and investment management firms.

The venue blends the old with the new to offer a training environment that is purpose built yet full of character, and is a departure from the run-of-the-mill corporate training room. Ambient lighting accentuates the indoor plants, high ceilings, wooden floors and fireplace, while rustic shutter doors draw the eye outdoors to the beautiful garden setting, complete with plunge pool - a welcome surprise in the middle of the city.

The training area features 10 seating units which have been carefully designed for use in a number of different configurations. Each pod consists of a matching antique-inspired chair and desk, sourced and refurbished by specialist restorer Sherry's Antiques. The furniture's dark wood and in-laid leather finishes add to the sumptuous appeal of the room and ensure a comfortable and memorable training experience.

Customised to any client's training needs

The venue can be customised to any client's training needs and its central location allows attendees to get back to the office after a training session and continue a productive work day. A fully equipped kitchen allows The Fresh Group to cater each training session with food and beverages prepared on site.

The Fresh Group's founder and CEO, Rowan Belchers, said: "The Fresh approach enables clients to break away from the traditional training model, which often requires staff to take full days out of their busy week to attend training at a far-flung external venue, diminishing the return they deserve on their training investment."

The Fresh Training Division offers courses on: leadership, management development, team effectiveness, personal branding, diversity, influence and persuasion, and presentation skills. Course content is carefully tailored according to client needs, Belchers pointed out. "Just like The Oasis venue, our training courses are custom designed and refreshingly sophisticated. We also make sure each person's individual learning needs are met through our coaching-style approach."
