8th International Workshop on Commercial Law

The Workshop presents an opportunity for practitioners, consultants and legal academics to discuss different aspects relating to globalisation and commercial law. The theme of the Workshop is "Commercial Law Challenges in a Globalised Economy."

The keynote speakers for the workshop and their respective topics are:

• Professor Joseph Straus (George Washington University and Stanford University): New Checks and Balances in the Global Economy - The Role of Intellectual Property

The breakaway sessions will cover discussions from national and international speakers on various commercial law topics related to the workshop theme, on subjects such as: Corporate law, Banking law, Tax law, Insurance law, Labour law, Insolvency law, Intellectual property law, Commercial law, Consumer protection, E-commerce law and World trade law.
