Possible outbreak of cholera in Hammanskraal
“Our laboratory section is currently busy on the ground conducting urgent tests to determine if indeed the water is contaminated with cholera,” the City said on Wednesday, 26 June 2018.
The City has dispatched roaming water tankers to ensure continuous supply of drinking water to the affected residents.
“We will inform residents on the outcome of the test results,” the City said.
The following areas are affected:
- Dilopye
- New Eersterust
- Temba
- Babelegi Industries
- Marokolong
- Ramotse
- Majaneng
- Mandela Village
- Sekampaneng
- Hammanskraal
