LSC does its bit for world hunger
Lesley Simpson Communications (LSC) will be a part of the highly anticipated "Bidvest World Chefs Tour against Hunger", taking place between 21 and 30 August 2011. The event will see 250 chefs from 44 countries, visiting South Africa to raise funds and awareness for the plight of the hungry.
LSC will be working together with a number of like-minded sponsors and PR companies, namely Strategic Public Relations and Cathy Findley Public Relations, in assisting with the PR, logistics and general coordination of the event, so as to ensure that the public participates in this worthy cause.
The tour is the biggest fundraising event ever undertaken in the global chef's fraternity, with proceeds going towards monthly food donations to the Akani Diepsloot Foundation, African Children's Feeding Scheme and Meals on Wheels, as well as other nominated charities countrywide.
