Running on emptyBack in March, after several days of doing short trips around my suburb on my reserve tank, I figured I'd better put something in it for fear of making that embarrassing "I've run out of petrol" call. Arriving at the fueling station, I realised I only had R50 on me... and no cards. Spending every last cent, I couldn't even manage four measly litres. Driving away, I was still in the red. So having coughed up a cool half grand into my tank just the other day, it is with relief that I see the petrol price is finally on its way down again. For how long? Well that, my friends, is the question. Have a wonderful (short) week! Shan Radcliffe, Group Head - Retail
