Strategies to survive the silly season

Image courtesy of Feelart / FreeDigitalPhotos.net.
With the silly season in full swing, we have a few tips for retailers on how they can maximise sales during the festive rush. With belts still rather tight, customers are on the look-out for value and promotions; research, however, has shown the African consumer is increasingly selective.

Megan Webb-Morgan tells us how to prepare for holiday customer care, while Deloitte explains the opportunities that game theory offers for consumer engagement.

Even the SACSC has released its predictions for the festive season... And beyond that, Brendan Peo has offered insight into e-commerce strategies for 2013.

Have a silly week everyone!
