Accelerate Cape Town Inspiration Session
Over 200 young professionals from 130 organisations gathered at the quarterly Accelerate Cape Town Inspiration Session, held at the exquisite Table Bay Hotel on 30 May.
The guests were mesmerised by up and coming local afro-soul/jazz artist, Nina Stamper, and networked with the new movers and shakers of Cape Town, while listening to Africa Melane inspire and enthuse the audience with recollections from his business and personal experiences.
The business think tank and catalyst Accelerate Cape Town holds regular Inspiration Sessions, together with programme sponsor Allan Gray, to encourage the retention of professional talent and the spread of professional mentorship in the Cape Town City Region.
The Accelerate Cape Town Inspiration Sessions started two years ago with 40 participants but Accelerate Cape Town now has more than 1 200 young professionals from 350 organisations on its database, including freelancers, owners of start-ups, employees of large corporates, and City and Provincial employees. The Inspiration Sessions have proven so popular that there is now a rotational invitation system and popular Inspiration Sessions LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
