"My goal in this industry has always been to work in roles that allow me to cross between both current and future media, while focusing on innovation and growth. As a studio, MGM shares this goal and is focused on remaining a nimble and creative company, while building upon a great legacy," said Khanna. "On both the personal and professional front, I am honored to be receiving the inaugural Media Architect of the Future Award at MIPCube as it signifies to me, that we are on the right path."

She joined CHUM Limited in 2003, where as vice president interactive, she headed the company's industry-leading Interactive division, responsible for the strategy and operations of all new media and cross-platform content initiatives for CHUM's 66 television and radio stations.

In 2007, Khanna joined NBC Universal as President of Universal Networks International and Digital Initiatives, where she oversaw and developed a portfolio of more than 70 channels including Syfy and 13th Street.
