Mursi to appear on weekly TV appearances
Newly elected president of Egypt, Mohamed Mursi will appear on a weekly television program to chat with the people, Mursi's spokesman Yasser Ali said.
The program will be produced by state television in collaboration with a number of channels and will air on Thursday or Friday of every week, according to the official website of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party.
Channels that have so far asked to take part in the project are CBC, Dream and Mehwar, Ali said, adding that the invitation is extended to all those who wish to participate.
Ali explained that all television hosts can interview the president, without exclusion and including those who criticize Mursi.
