BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Pentawards 2013 has called for entries so if you're a packaging designer and you want your work to be recognised, enter now!
Pentawards 2013: Call for entries

• The 7th edition of the Pentawards, the world's major competition devoted exclusively to packaging design is open for entries from 15 April to 24 May 2013.
• Packaging designers, brand owners, packaging suppliers from the world over are invited to enter their best creations in 50 categories divided into 5 major sectors: Food - Beverages - Body - Other Markets - Luxury
• An international jury composed of 12 professionals from packaging design and marketing and its chairman will bestow the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Pentawards. The best of the show will be crowned with the Diamond Pentaward.
• Esko, Luxepack and Sleever International, all official sponsors of the Pentawards, will each handover a special prize (worth €5,000).
• All winning designs will be published by Taschen in the third volume of "The Package Design Book". Release in November 2014.
• The Pentawards ceremony will be presented on 21 September 2013 in Barcelona, the most creative city of Europe (W Hotel).

Call for entries: Registration will be open online from the 15 April to 24 May 2013 for all packaging, or line of packaging, created or placed on the market since 1 January 2012, anywhere in the world.

And that is not all: This year, the earlier you enter, the greater your advantage.

Entry fee per creation submitted in a category:
Early bird - from 15 April to 26 April 2013 - €150
Full registration - 27 April to 17 May 2013 - €195

Last chance - from 18 May to 24 May 2013 - €225

ATTENTION: There will be NO extension of the registration deadline: 24 May 2013 will be the very last day.
