What to expect at the 2021 AfricArena Summit
The 5th Annual AfricArena Grand Summit will be taking place from 16-17 November 2021 at The Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town. The summit is an opportunity to explore tomorrow's trends today by showcasing some of Africa's most innovative startups and connecting them with investors, corporates and enablers to accelerate their growth.
The AfricArena Summit is an annual tech conference that showcases Africa's best startups and innovators in front of an audience of local and international investors looking for the most promising tech startups.
The AfricArena Summit events are broken into 3 segments as follows: Investor Unconference, Founders BootCamp and the main Summit Event.
Here's what to expect
- Founders Bootcamp: 14-15 November 2021
The Startup Founder BootCamp is a two-day program that fast tracks founder knowledge in certain key areas that are often overlooked by other incubation programs. The program features teaching, workshops and networking with peers to empower startups to get the maximum amount of value in a short period of time.
- VC Unconference: 11-13 November 2021
Preceding the Summit, AfricArena will host their exclusive Investors Unconference on 11-13 November 2021. The mission of the Unconference is to provide an informal participant-driven meeting, giving an opportunity for an unfiltered exchange of innovative ideas and collaboration within the ecosystem all aimed at easing and enhancing the process of investing on the continent. This event is strictly by invitation only.
- Grand Summit: 16-17 November 2021
Now in its fifth year, the 2021 AfricArena Summit will take place in Cape Town, South Africa on 16-17 November. Its mission is to bring together the leading corporates and investors investing in the continent’s tech-ecosystem, with the most talented entrepreneurs from across Africa. Winners from regional events compete on stage, where the best minds from around the world deliver keynotes, panel discussions, and so much more. - VC Night & Innovation Night: 15-16 November 2021
The VC Night is an event where startups and investors come together for a networking event, where startups share their ideas to potential investors, in an informal setup.
A not to be missed event is the Innovation Night. This closing event of the summit brings together tech innovators for an evening of creative exchange of ideas over a cocktail or drink, mix and mingle, network and form new connections.
