Eskom finance director departs from utility

Eskom and its finance director, Tsholofelo Molefe, have mutually agreed to part ways on an amicable basis, Eskom announced on Thursday, 25 June.

Eskom reiterated that Molefe is and was never suspected of any negligence, misconduct or wrongdoing.

With the separation, the inquiry initiated by the board into the state of affairs at Eskom will continue as planned, and Molefe's suspension falls away.

Molefe joined Eskom in July 2005.
