MillerCoors Q2 underlying net income up 9.3% y/y to USD487.2m
SABMiller plc (SAB) reported on Thursday that MillerCoors' underlying net income grew 9.3% to $487.2m in the three months to June from a year ago.

The income growth was driven by lower brewing and packaging materials and fuel costs, as well as higher net pricing and supply chain cost savings.
Total net sales, however, slipped 0.2% to $2.203bn in the review period.
MillerCoors is SABMiller's US unit. It brews, markets and sells a portfolio of premium brands in North America, Europe and Asia.
