Doha Port to be finished a decade early

Said to be one of the world's deepest ports following completion, the port's new deadline is 2020 instead of 2030 - in time for the 2022 FIFA football world cup.

In an article in Gulf Times, the Qatari government is reportedly merging the first and second construction phases of the project together.

Once completed, the port will have a total TEU capacity of six million.
