The World Travel Awards, which was launched in 1993, serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. It is regarded as the highest achievement that a travel product could hope to receive.
As the African winner, 1time will now move on to the WTA Grand Final, which will take place on 12 December, 2012, in New Delhi, India, and will be attended by the leading decision makers and figureheads from the global travel and tourism industry.
