    Swiss bike launch

    More than 50 bicycle retailers and media attended the two-day Scott 2011 launch held by the South African wholesaler, Probike in Johannesburg at the weekend. Described as Europe's largest bicycle brand, it showcased a line-up of 51 models of Swiss road and mountain bikes, which arrived in late July in South Africa.

    Brandon Els, Probike CEO said, "Probike is 75 years old this year and we're proud to be able to offer a stable, extensive distribution and marketing infrastructure to grow the brand substantially in South Africa."
