Nedbank gains 94 000 new clients

Nedbank has gained 94 000 new retail clients in the past 12 months and the banking group has also increased its banking hours be opening 33 branches between 10am and 2pm on Sundays, according to Business Report. It is the third bank to be open on Sundays after Capitec and certain of Absa's main branches.

Nedbank gains 94 000 new clients

Furthermore, Nedbank has opened 116 new branches and installed 420 automated teller machines (ATMs) since June last year. According to an article published in Business Report, the bank has increased its headline earnings to R2,77 billion for the six months to June, a rise of 28,8%.

Headline earnings per share for the period rose to R6.
