    Quintica launches service management course

Quintica, an APMG-accredited provider of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) training, has announced the launch of a two-day session covering service management awareness coupled with a simulation both geared around creating a better understanding of ITIL practices in the workplace.

The two-day session is offered as part of the public schedule and is therefore open to all. It offers attendees an excellent way to gain a better understanding of the ITIL framework without the additional costs of attaining certification.

The first day provides an overview of service management and drills down into the fundamentals of the ITIL framework. It is then followed by a simulation game on day two where the practices learned from the first day can be put to the test. The sessions are perfect for teams looking to understand ITIL and its relevance to them, or executives too busy to sit through the training but want the knowledge of how to implement ITIL best practices in their business.

    A comprehensive overview

"The session has been designed to provide a comprehensive overview of service management, based on the ITIL framework and then offers a mechanism by which to test the understanding of the fundamentals has been attained," states Kerry Evans at Quintica.

It has been designed in such a way that an attendee can elect to attend one of the days or both and offers a practical means by which to establish if an individual is able to drive ITIL best practices into the workplace, also highlighting common errors and the effects of these in a live environment.

The first session will kick off in the first week of December. For more information, go to www.quintica.co.za or call +27 (0)11 026 5990.
