Hakan Bicil appointed CEO Imperial Logistics international business
Imperial Logistics has named Hakan Bicil CEO of Imperial Logistics International B.V. & Co. KG; effective 1 September 2018.
Bicil replaces Carsten Taucke, who announced his withdrawal from the management board in November last year.
Bicil was most recently chief commercial officer at Ceva Logistics. Prior to this, he was executive vice president of strategic business development for Panalpina, managing director of Europe and Middle East for Toll Group, and senior vice president of global business development for Kuehne & Nagel.
CEO of Imperial Logistics, Marius Swanepoel, says: “We’re delighted to have gained Bicil, whose supply chain expertise makes him the ideal choice to drive our growth strategy in key European markets.”
Swanepoel also thanked Taucke for his contribution to the ongoing development of the international business.
