SA & Swaziland sign agriculture memorandum of understanding
South Africa's Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the government of Swaziland signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) recently, to collaborate on research, technology and capacity building.
Engineering News Online quotes deputy director-general for agriculture production and food security Kgabi Mogajane, who spoke at the African Ministerial Conference on climate-smart agriculture in Johannesburg, as saying that "the focus of the MoU would be on technology transfer, training, capacity building and research related to issues of food security."
Mogajane added that the memorandum of understanding would contribute to enhancing and improving on bilateral relations, while addressing similar rural areas challenges in both countries.
