Pilot Crushtec signs first export contract
South African supplier of mobile and semi-mobile crushing, screening, washing and materials handling equipment, Pilot Crushtec International, recently achieved an export first with the shipment of an Edge Innovate LTS75 Low Tracked Level Stacker to a customer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Katanga Contracting Services S.A.R.L. ordered the product together with four 16m Pilot Modular MC800 conveyors and a single 20m Pilot Modular MC800 conveyor. This follows a visit to Pilot Crushtec where they were demonstrated the advantages of using the conveyor for its steel apron feeder to handle the fines in the feed and low level loading of larger material, therefore avoiding the requirements of a fixed ROM pad.
Versatile product
"The Edge Innovate LTS75 Low Tracked Level Stacker is a very versatile product and could be considered as a preferred choice for operators where high level of fines in feed mixed with large rocks and rapid plant relocation is required," says Wayne Warren, Pilot Crushtec International's Africa sales manager.
