The 30-metre steel pontoons were built by Damen Shipyards Cape Town and towed across the Port of Cape Town to Quay 7, alongside the new Cape Town Edition hotel.

The arrival marks the first time the marina’s main structures have been in the water at Quay 7. Six pontoons are being built for the development.

Once complete, the marina will provide eight berths for vessels of up to 90 metres. It is designed to accommodate visiting superyachts during the season and support catamaran commissioning and export staging during the off-season.
